the national park is where Mt. McKinley is located, and spreads all over Denali. picnics are held here, as well as family hiking trips. it tends to be a popular place for teens to come and hold large parties because it is so spacious and secluded. hunting is not allowed here, unless you have a special permit and even then it is restricted to avoid hikers being shot.

most of the housing offered in Denali are small houses, though there is one small apartment building near the middle of town. the houses are spread out on large plots of land, which a lot of space between them. some are even located on the land that technically belongs to the national park.

Sub-board: the cullen's house

here in denali, there are only about four shops: a wal-mart, a post-office that doubles as a convenience store, a hunting outlet, and a small shopping mart. most people can be found out shopping on Saturday mornings, making their rounds after a hectic week.

the streets and downtown area of Denali, where most teenagers and adults alike can be found wandering. it's pretty mellow usually, with some of the more rowdy kids goofing off at times, but normally nothing too bad can happen here. there are a couple little stores here, too.

this is, quite possibly, the only place you wouldn't expect to find here. it's a bar and club all in one, though it isn't all that club-like when it comes down to it. the downstairs is a little pub, which serves both food and alcoholic beverages, while the upstairs has been converted into a more club-like atmosphere.

a small diner in the middle of town. it is incredibly popular, and even people from other towns will travel to come here. their specialty is their country fried steak, which tends to sell quite well. mary anne's is probably the third largest building in town, only outdone by the safety station and the high school.
