It is 2013. The wizarding world is thriving, new spells are being invented, the Quidditch World Cup was held back in July and was a great success. Birth rates of wizarding children are going up, great peace has settled over fifteen years, since the Last Great War. The ministry, everybody is quite certain, now that their great hero, Harry Potter, now a grown man, with a family and an auror for the ministry has finally defeated the darkest wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort. Some call this the 'true' Golden Age, they believe nothing can touch them now, now that they have gained information about horcruxes and such.

But. They. Were. All. Wrong.

News spread over some kind epidemic, some kind of virus has spread. People have randomly vanished, with out a trace, only high up ministry officials could only find what was left up to them, a tiny piece of almost disintergrated bone ashes. They have set out to try and find the cause of it, but alas with no luck. Several months gap, and the Auror department let the case settle, before another whole horde of people vanishing. And particular people too;; Muggles, Blood Traitor families. A few people who know of the happenings at that time, were starting to get worried whether the Dark Ages were going back, if all of the Death Eaters were really locked up. Lately, some people have been receiving strange packages, and opening them, not knowing that inside contained the very poisonous, yet magical fumes that would instantly kill you. The ministry has ordered to check packages and all mail, but none can track this poisonous fume. Rumors have spread, that another Death Eater like group that call themselves the Purists are the root to the problem, however, there is no evidence to support that fact.The famed Harry Potter, now an auror has checked and tried to find out the root of this, but even he can't find whats going on. It seems like the wizarding world might end at last.

Mean while, students at Hogwarts remain a happy sort, testing, exams, crushes, dating, homework, and such, under the new Headmaster, who tries to do as well as a job when Dumbledore was the headmaster. However, the very small group of remaining purebloods left in Hogwarts have grouped themselves, pretending to be changed, yet from day one, were still taught the strong pureblood prejudices. Actually, this secretive group, have strong ties with the group thats spreading the poison. The students who have heard of the events, the select few who think this will branch out into another whole magical war, have grouped together and called themselves the Silver Snitch, teaching themselves advanced Defensive magic, and yes, reading up about the Dark Arts but not actually using them. Think of this as another D.A group, however more of a purpose to be ready, to be Hogwarts own militia against the bad. The students who are in the middle? They have to live the worst of it all. At the end, they must choose whether to fight to bring an end to the "muggle scum" or fight with those that don't agree with pruning the wizarding world of muggles. Everything is in groups now. The Silver Snitch. The mysterious group of students that are rumored to be connected to the so called "Purists." The ministry along with the famous Golden Trio. Muggles. And, the world.

Dark things are happening. The Short lived Golden Age is definitely going to the end.
