back with a bang.

Right. I have not been active lately, and I feel terribly guilty for it. x.x;

What's worse is that, in the intervening time, I kind of lost muse for Charis... and I haven't even begun to use poor Alyx yet. <.<; So, in order to help regain my muse, I was curious if anybody would be interested in a miniplot with either Charis or Alyx. I'll outline the characters below, and maybe toss a few ideas out there--feel free to offer input or maybe come up with an idea of your own. ;]

CHARIS;
She's a vampire, and so is quite used to getting her way and is a little over-confident--because, let's face it, when you've got super-powers, it'll go to your head at some point. In her case, it's had over two-thousand years to do so. She's was born in Greece in the 300s BC (I believe... too lazy to hunt down her profile xP), in Thebes, to be specific. Therefore, she's had plenty of time to work on alliances and enmities. She's got a good memory, too. If anybody has some ancient (or semi-ancient) characters, that would be lufferly--it'd be loads of fun to role-play a meeting after a few centuries, especially depending on what terms they left on. =] Another vampire who could take her down a notch would be enjoyable, too.

What else? Well, Charis finds humans very fascinating creatures. She IS a carnivore vampire, but two thousand years of practice has perfected her self-control. Provided she feeds every so often, she'll be fine. Of course, she'll occasionally leave the city to feed on a human... which makes me think that it'd be very interesting to have a human become suspicious of her. Wouldn't it be fun if we had a sleuth on the board, trying to figure out if Charis was somehow related to these missing person reports popping up all across the area? xD

Shapeshifters, shapeshifters. Well, Charis is a serious black sheep in the fact that she bears them no enmity. Of course, she isn't going to allow herself to be mauled by a werewolf or something, she's pretty hard to piss off. That being said, I'd be very interesting in pursuing some relationships with some of the shapeshifters here on the board. Friends, enemies... well, enemies would be more likely, since Charis has a tendency to annoy people. xD She takes a certain joy in being someone else's killjoy.

One final note--Charis doesn't really go for romance. She understands lust and feels it herself at times, but her love has come and gone. She fell in love with the vampire who turned her, but he was destroyed by another a while ago (negotiable, loves--it would be best, IMO, if it was at least a century ago, though). If anybody'd be interested in pursuing a plot like that--where Charis goes on the war path, looking to avenge her lost love, I would love you forever. =P

ALYX;
Human, and a serious animal lover. I haven't worked out all her kinks yet, as I've never actually role-played her. She's got several pets, all of whom are named after various mythological figures (Enki shows up in many ancient civilizations--all in the Mesopotamian area, if you're interested,Eris is a Greek goddess, etc.). She's a senior in the highschool (born during the summer, and so could start earlier than most) and is currently out applying for colleges in the hopes of becoming a marine biologist. She spends much of her time outdoors, whether she's playing sports or walking her dog. She enjoys camping out in the National Park, so that might be a good meeting place. Quite honestly, I have no ideas for any plots. ^^;

And now I feel like a closet sadist. I am really not, but I enjoy role-playing characters through conflict. My favorite part of role-playing is watching a character bloom into something more. Thus, I thrive off of their discomfort. =P
